With many thanks to David Morley as main judge, Clare Knock, our invaluable registrar, and Hilda Sheehan for her support and co-operation, here, at last, the results of Battered Moons 2014:

Hear our seven poets and David Morley read on October 4th at the Battered Moons event  as part of the Swindon Festival of Poetry, a night of poetry and celebration, with Spanish guitar by Oxfordshire virtuoso Paul Owen.

Other guest poets at the Festival include Don Share ( Poetry magazine and the Poetry Foundation, Chicago), Maurice Riordan (Poetry Review), Cliff Yates, Lesley Saunders, Alison McVety, Martin Malone (The Interpreter’s House) and many other talented poets.

BATTERED MOONS 2014

BATTERED MOONS  2014 is now open and raring to go with  David Morley as main judge, working alongside Cristina Navazo-Eguía Newton.  Both David  and Cristina  will read all the entries, which can be sent until 30th June 2014.

BATTERED MOONS POETRY COMPETITION 2013 – RESULTS

A pleasure to announce the winners and commendations for Battered Moons Poetry Competition 2013, adjudicated by Alice Oswald and Cristina Navazo-Eguía Newton.

 

Warm congratulations go to all seven poets, whose poems we look forward to hearing at the Battered Moons event, during the Swindon Festival of Poetry, on 5th October 2013, with Alice Oswald as guest poet reading from her work.
